マンマ・ミーア！

昨夜、なんだか色々あって考えていたら眠れなくなったので、潔く寝るのをやめレイトショーにいってきました。

どうせこんな頭グルグルの状態で行くなら、Happyな気分になれるものがいいな〜と思って選択したのは、「マンマ・ミーア！（http://www.mamma-mia-movie.jp/）」。ちょうど公開されたばかりだし「すべての人をハッピーにし続ける」「みんな元気になーれ」といったコピーがこの映画には溢れているのを思い出して選択してみました。

で....感想前に。

皆さま、「マンマ・ミーア」ってどういう意味だかご存知ですか？私、知らないまま今回観に行ったのだけど（というか、数年前に劇団四季のミュージカルにいったのに、調べたことなかった自分にびっくり！...爆）、今回なにげに気になって調べてみたところ...

まず、これはイタリア語だそうです（それすら知らなかった私...）。で、普通に直訳すると「私のお母さん」という意味らしい。で、それを「お母さん＝聖母マリア」と意訳して「ああ、聖母マリアよ！」という意味だというので、英語で言うところの「Oh, My God!」って感じ？　てことは、イタリア人は（欧米人のごとく）連発しているのかしらねぇ。

さて...ということで、映画について。

期待以上に、元気になりました！正直、ストーリーがどうのってことはまーったくないけれど「元気になる」ことは確かです。メリル・ストリープ（もう60歳近いよね？？？）のはじけ具合が本当によくって、何故だかカワイクすら感じました。そうして、恋することってなんだかいいなーって、思っちゃいました。ミュージカル映画だから、当然ながら突然歌い始めるけれど（笑）、ABBAの曲がこんなにもいい歌詞だったのかって改めて気づかされるし、もっともっと聞きたくなりました（でも、それはそれで自分の精神衛生上よくない曲なのだけどね...）。

明け方ながら、かなり満足で帰宅。
